Sport has been part of my life since I was around 13. Every stage has taught me something different about movement, performance, discipline, resilience and confidence, and all of it sits at the heart of Vitaliftness.
01
Teenage Years
Volleyball & Handball
My sporting journey began in secondary school, continuing through high school and college. I played volleyball and handball, including competing as a goalkeeper. I later played for SESI, a renowned sports club in São Paulo, Brazil, for approximately five years, followed by two years with Goodyear Pneus Club.
These experiences helped me develop coordination, agility, speed, reaction time and teamwork, while teaching me the importance of self-belief, discipline and enjoying movement through challenge and shared achievement.
02
Challenge & Resilience
Climbing
I later completed a climbing course, experiencing movement in a completely different environment, beyond my comfort zone.
Climbing deepened my understanding of physical activity, combining strength, coordination and concentration with problem-solving, resilience and confidence.
03
Endurance & Adventure
Cycling
Cycling became a major part of my life for several years. I took part in events from London to Brighton and L’Étape, alongside smaller cycling events across London.
These experiences taught me endurance, consistency and perseverance, showing me that with commitment, we can often achieve more than we initially believe is possible.
04
A New Challenge
Running
Building on my cycling experience, I moved into running to develop my cardiovascular fitness and challenge myself in a new way.
Running reinforced the importance of consistency, patience and setting personal goals. It taught me that progress takes time, and every step counts.
05
Power & Technique
Strength & Weight Training
My sporting journey later developed into strength training and weightlifting, deepening my interest in how strength, power, mobility and technique improve physical performance.
I began exploring how these principles apply not only in the gym but also in sport and everyday movement. More recently, I have incorporated agility and mobility into my own training, inspiring the idea of bringing these elements into children’s sessions.
My practical experience has always been matched by a desire to keep studying, especially when it comes to understanding movement, physical development, and how to help others enjoy being active.
My sporting journey began in secondary school and grew throughout high school and college, where I played handball as a goalkeeper. I later played for approximately five years at SESI, a well-known sports club in São Paulo, Brazil, followed by another two years at Goodyear Pneus Club.
My passion for physical challenges then led me to climbing, progressing from indoor walls to real mountains. I also took up cycling, participating in major events such as London to Brighton and L’Étape, and spent several years running.
Today, my greatest passion is strength training and functional movement, continually challenging myself to become stronger, faster, more agile and more powerful.
This passion is the foundation of Vitaliftness. Combined with over 13 years of experience working with children, I want to help them discover what their bodies can do, develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy being active.
Not every child needs to become an athlete, but every child deserves the opportunity to explore movement, challenge themselves and reach their potential in a positive, supportive environment.
Training children to become the best version of themselves.
